| Camp Imagination! |

An extraordinary musical atmosphere where your child will explore the power of pretend play with exceptional music, drama, dance and movement activities, singing, instrument play, arts/crafts and more. Your child’s creative spirit will be captured as chairs line up as our train, bilibos become boats, a small tent becomes an igloo when covered in white sheets and more. We’ll visit the mountains, park, arctic, ocean and zoo! A teddy bear friend from home is invited to join the fun on the first two days of camp! Recess in the Kid’s Gym adds more excitement.
Daily nutritious snacks. Family members join child for last 10 min. each day.

This exceptional Camp takes jazz music, sounds and instruments into the kitchen! Jazz Kitchen emphasizes steady beat and fun with food, all set to the rhythms and sounds of jazz. Children will explore food in its many dimensions—shopping at the grocery store, chopping, dicing, then heating up the kitchen making toast, and cooking noodles from scratch—all to the rhythms and sounds of jazz. We’ll echo sounds and syllables to a beat (scat singing), learn some music notation such as quarter notes and eighth notes which are introduced in a kitchen rhyme, using “chop” for quarter notes and “dice it” for eighth notes, groove to our hello song, identify the sound of many instruments in jazz, make our own jazz music, practice piano keyboard readiness skills and make music on the keyboards. We will make our own snacks using both cook and no-cook recipes each day, enjoy a wonderful recess in the Kids’ Gym and have a swingin’ good time! Family members join child for last 10 min. each day.

A marvelous week of fun and music-making at the keyboard!
A marvelous introduction to the piano for complete beginners.
A great opportunity for parents to find out if their child is interested in piano.
Children will learn basic rhythm and keyboard geography, play musical games both at the keyboards and on specially designed game boards, and will be ready to perform several pieces for parents on the final day of camp. More fun each day at recess in the exciting Kid’s Gym. Nutritious snacks!
