Kindermusik Family Fun!      (with parents/caregivers)
Discover the incredible power of music, uncover the joy of learning as you and your child experience the magic of Kindermusik! Singing, dancing, musical instruments, story time, balls, bilibos, parachute, echo game, infant sign language and more. Studies show that children who do Kindermusik learn to read earlier and behave better. Kindermusik develops self confidence, self control, and social skills.
Parents – help your child reach his/her potential and have FUN at Kindermusik!

Around The Farm               Ages 12 mos. –  4 yr.
#1   Wednesdays: May 30, June 6 13, 20     9:30 – 10:15am
#2   Saturdays: Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25              9:00 – 9:45am
Cost: $56 (includes Kindermusik CD, children’s activity magazine and pair of rhythm sticks)
#1 and #2 include an optional FREE visit, by arrangement, to my “hobby farm”
15 mins from the Studio! Pet my four friendly dogs, feed the miniature donkeys
and dwarf goats and be amused by the goats’ antics on the boardwalks!

Sing, Sign and Shake It Up Mother Goose!      Ages 0 – 18 mos.
#3   Saturdays:  Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25,             10:00 – 10:45am
Cost: $45 (includes tote bag with Kindermusik CD, two large egg shakers and activity guide)

Froggy Went A Dancing     Ages 18 mos. – 4 yr.
Includes a live instrument demonstration one class and a frog shaker craft one class.
#4   Saturdays: June 9 and June 16             9:30 – 10:30am  (a whole HOUR of fun!)
Cost: $25 (includes tote bag with Kindermusik CD and hardback book)

Jazz Kitchen!             Ages 3 – 6 yr.
This exceptional Camp takes jazz music into the kitchen with singing, dance, drama, movement activities, instrument play, daily arts/crafts, food preparation and more. Children will explore food in its many dimensions—shopping at the grocery store, chopping, dicing, then preparing both cook and no-cook recipes each day all to the rhythms and sounds of jazz. We’ll echo sounds and syllables to a beat (scat singing), learn some music notation such as quarter notes and eighth notes, groove to our hello song, identify the sound of many instruments in jazz, make our own jazz music, practice piano readiness skills and make music on the piano. Recess in the Kids’ Gym adds more excitement each day.
A teddy bear friend from home is invited to join the fun on the first two days of camp!
Family members join child for last 10 min. each day.

#5  June 11 – 15  (M – F)           1:30 – 3:30pm
Cost: $86   ( includes “Jazz Kitchen” Kindermusik CD and children’s activity magazine.)

Kindermusik Adventures Around The World!          Ages 4 – 8 yr
“I can eat rice with chop sticks!  My kimono is Japanese. Mom, listen to me yodel in the German Alps! I can do African drumming patterns! Watch me dance round the maypole in England! See my adinkra fabric, printed using vegetables! Olé!  Daddy, I’m going to teach you the Mexican Hat Dance!”

A unique program combining music, crafts, drama and movement, while learning joyfully about other cultures of the world. Includes making and stamping passports, costumes to try on and a Studio that looks like a different country each day! Expect exceptional teacher and student creativity!  Recess in the exciting Kid’s Gym is fun too! Nutritious snacks typical of each country.  Family members join child for last 10 min. each day.
#6    Aug. 6 – 10  (M – F)       1:00 – 3:30pm
Cost: $118  (includes 10 downloadable Kindermusik songs, art/craft materials, den den drum and maracas)

Blast Off With Piano!       Ages 5 – 9 yr.
A marvellous week of fun and music-making at the keyboard!
A marvellous introduction to the piano for complete beginners.
A great opportunity for parents to find out if their child is interested in piano.
Children will learn basic rhythm and keyboard geography, play musical games both at the keyboards and on specially designed game boards, and will be ready to perform several pieces for parents on the final day of camp. More fun each day at recess in the exciting Kid’s Gym.  Nutritious snacks!

*Private 30-minute piano lessons are offered throughout the year for students wishing to continue their piano studies.

Private Piano Lessons      All ages
30-minute weekly private lessons can be scheduled for summer courses of any length with the option of continuing.
